Tilton-Weeks

A pretty home wedding occurred at the home of Mr. & Mrs. W. H. Weeks when their daughter, Alta Maude, united in marriage to Mr. Elvin J. Tilton, on Wednesday evening, Nov. 9th, at 7 o’clock. The bridal party entered the parlor to the strains of a wedding march played by Mrs. Lawrence Pinckney, and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Wells of the Congregational church. Immediately following congratulations the guests were invited to the dining room where a dainty two course luncheon was served.

The bride is one of our best young ladies, having always lived among us, and the groom is a promising young farmer of Monroe township. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. Those from a distance included Alva Weeks and children Master Albert and little Freda, from Colorado City, Colo.

The young people have the best wishes of their many friends.
