ST. CHARLES CEMETERY |
|
Thomas N. & Sarah E. Clanton gave
lands in Section 23 of South Township for a cemetery to be used by
the citizens adjacent thereto, the grantor reserving the timber.
The deed was filed January 29, 1873.
Land was deeded in South Township in Section 23 for the cemetery in 1904 and 1906 by Florence Wood and J. M. and Martha B. Fulton. They also stated that 64-14 rods shall be used for a hitching place for teams and for no other purpose. |
