Agan ReunionThe 14th annual Agan Reunion was held Aug 3, 1952 at the Methodist Church Basement in Columbia, Ia. A cooperative basket dinner was enjoyed at the noon hour. One-hundred and fifty-two names were registered during the afternoon registration. The afternoon session was called to order by the president Roy Agan. Program: Opening song "My Country Tis of Thee." The following officers were elected for the coming year: Walker Moorehead-President Tom Rankin-Vice-President- FredaWhitlatch-Secretary & Treasurer Those taking part in the program were: Gerald Rankin, Billy Agan, Tom Agan, Henry Agan, Hazel Ross, Mrs. T. O. Beebout, Mrs. Helen Cornwell, Tom Rankin, Mae Rankin, Elbie Moon, Stanley Gullion Jr., Mrs Corwin Sage, Ronald Stormes, Mary Agan, Mr & Mrs Walker Moorehead. A collection was taken to defray expenses. Plans were made for the reunion to be held Aug. 2-1953 at the same location. The meeting was closed with the son. "God Be With You Till We Meet Again."
