April 2009 Marriages for 1859, 1860, 1861, 1875 and 1902 have been added. More coming!

January 2009 - The County officials page continues to grow. News articles about the Gold Star Boys have been added. More information and pictures of the Gold Star Boys have been added. More obituaries (more than 400 since Feb. 1). More gravestone photos. History of Newport added. History of Cotter added. Cotter Graduates added with names of armed service personnel from the Cotter area

September  2008 - Veterans' information added, censuses for the County Home have been added, marriage records are updated and new marriage records have been added. Additional census records have been added.

March 2008 - Louisa County has moved to a new server. The new address is http://iagenweb.org/louisa/ 

January 2008 - Updated Wapello School History, more information on Early Settlements, additions to People and Places including various school photos. New - a link to Louisa County Wills 1853-1902. (This index may not include probate packets.) More early officials including some photos. More obituaries. More gravestone photos.

2007 - More early officials, more early censuses,  War data (Civil War, World War II, Spanish American), Schaffner Players (Toby and Susie).

2006 - See hundreds of new GPP photos from the following cemeteries: Bethel in Wapello Twp.; Bethel in Union Twp., Boston in Union Twp.; Edwards in Eliot Twp.; Parsons in Eliot Twp.; Fairview in Wapello Twp.; and Cambrian Cemetery south of Cotter. Hundreds of obituaries have been added with more coming. We have also added Louisa County Cemetery Maps. Another item of interest might be Murders in Louisa County.

April 25, 2005 - Connie Street was named County Coordinator for the Louisa County IAGenWeb site.
