Establish Records as Corn Huskers

Columbus Junction – Frank Dwinell, Columbus Junction, and S. J. Miller, Gladwin, have two long records for corn husking for one farmer.

Mr. Dwinell, Columbus Junction, husked corn for 17 years for J. L. Hildebrand on his farm near Letts.

Mr. Miller, Gladwin, husked 17 years for Lee Colton and ties with Mr. Dwinell on this point for continuous corn husking. Mr. Miller also husked corn for Mr. Colton a previous seven years 1904 to 1910 inclusive. He moved to Iowa City where he lived from 1911 to 1915. Returning to Gladwin he has just completed the 17 years which gives him 24 with a break of four years.
