WILSON DEALER FOR FORD
Tractors, Implements Over Wide Area

    J. Lloyd Wilson is the Ford - Ferguson dealer in Wapello and has been since 1946 when he retired as traffic agent for the Illinois Central railroad system.

    The dealership was previously owned by the Tillman Motor Company of Wapello and since Wilson had it, the business is housed in one of the buildings formerly occupied by the old Farmers Canning Co. It has since been remodeled and today is the sales and service room for Ford tractors and equipment, also a complete parts department.

    Assisting Lloyd are Elmer Johannesmeier and Roy Croslin.

    Mrs. Wilson owns and operates, “The Smart Shop”, as fine and modern and up to date ladies ready to wear shop as can be found anywhere.

    They have three children: William 15, Katherine 12 and Robert age 8.
