PRICE’S DRUGS OFFERS SERVICES
Prescriptions Are Big Item

Joe Price has been in the drug business for the past 43 years which accounts for the confidence the people of this community put in the Price Drug Store when requisitioning aid from his prescription department which is subject to call 24 hours a day.

Joe purchased the building on Aug. 5, 1950 from Carl Hedges and the building was erected by H. J. Plett in 1887.

The experiences which Joe has is long and varied, from the Ford Hopkins Drug Chain, of which he is a charter stockholder and was with for 21 years, in acting pharmacist in various privately owned drug stores throughout the state of Iowa.

When the business expanded to the point where more room was necessary, the sales room was remodeled in April of 1955 and new fixtures were installed. Now there is not only a complete drug line but also cosmetics, greeting cards, magazines, costume jewelry and many other items.

The Prices have one son who is with the J. C. Penny store at Norfolk, Neb. And one grandchild.
