THE MCCULLEY FURNITURE CO.
You Furnish Girl
We Furnish Home

It is seldom that a town the size of Wapello has so fine a line of modern furniture as the McCulley-Furniture Company of Wapello feature in their store located on Second and Van Buren.

Ray McCulley, purchased the business from Ross Dudgeon in 1953. Previous to that time Ray was a successful farmer and then he spent some time in the United States Air Force.

Mrs. McCulley is the former Phyllis Dudgeon and the couple has one daughter, Kathleen.

Ray also assists Ross Dudgeon at the Dudgeon Funeral Home as he is a graduate of the College of Mortuary Science in St. Louis and is a licensed mortician.

All the leading brands of furniture, rugs, carpets, appliances linoleum and other types of floor covering are handled by the McCulley Furniture Company. In fact the slogan of the store is very fitting, “You furnish the girl – we furnish the home”.
