Transcribed by Shirley Plumb, July 1, 2019FIRST AIRTIGHT GLUE DISPENSERS The Siline and Johnson manufacturing company was started here in 1927 by Robert Siline and Ludwig Johnson as partners Associates in the business are Fred L. Brown and Mrs. L. Johnson.
A patent was taken out on an airtight rubber cement dispenser and also, for a time, on an invisible sole cement press which was discontinued at a later date. However the air tight dispensers are still being made in large quantities and now the firm manufactures surgical knife handles and artist supplies as well.
The products of Siline and Johnson have been accepted on the market and are in great demand to the extent that today, they are being shipped all over the United States and Canada.
