FAIR STORE HAS WIDE SELECTION AS DEPARTMENT STORE

Whitbeck’s Fair store offers Louisa county folks the advantages of an almost complete department store.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Whitbeck purchased the store from Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Patrick on Jan. 1, 1956. The Patrick’s purchased the store from Mr. and Mrs. George Pratt, who operated the Fair store for 30 years.

A new addition has recently been completed to the rear of the store to house the radio and TV shop operated by Whitbeck.

Mr. and Mrs. Whitbeck have three children: Jerry, 16; Judy, 10; and Jimmy, 7.

Mrs. Whitbeck gained her experience with J. C. Penny Co. and Sears, Roebuck and Co. at Kenosha, Wis.
