This section is for submitted stories and letters to/from early Linn County, Iowa residents. Types of stories and/or letters we are looking for here are those that give specific genealogical information or paint a written picture of the way life was lived in the 1800's or early 1900's.

Bruner/Brunner Family - Four letters written from Central City, IA native, Mrs. Eli Bruner to her mother. These letters describe her travels to and around Florida from Dec. 1899 to July 1900.
