will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary Sunday, April 29, at an open house from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 7 until 9 p.m. at their home.

Anna Ockenfels and Albert Fritz were married May 1, 1917, at St. Michael's church in Norway.

Hosts for the occasion will be their eight children, Mrs. Alberta Barkdoll, Mrs. Genevieve Hall and Melvin Fritz of Cedar Rapids. Lester Fritz of Iowa City; Mrs. Dorothy Erland of La Porte City; Mrs. Viola Smith of Center Point; Ronald Fritz of Walker and MRs. Berniece Duello of Brandon.
