Stauffer Family

"School Picture"

"One of the girls in the picture would be Dorothy Stauffer, daughter of William and Viola (Simpson) Stauffer.  This is just a guess.  All of these pictures came from that side of the family.  William and Viola only had two children and the other one was a son Richard.  Richard was born in 1906 so he would have been too old for that age group in the picture.  Dorothy was born in 1912 and judging by the other kids in the photo I'd say they are about 10 years old.   If you would like to post it on Lee County, that would be great.  Maybe someone else can help identify some of the kids.  There were no names on the back at all. 

I'm still in the younger bracket of family history researchers but it has always been tough to see all these stacks of old photos without any identities.  I've tried to get my picture collection out there as much as possible to as many people as I could to get them identified.  In many cases it's too late, but I can still try! "
