TACKABERRY, Mrs. Emma, daughter of H. WEST of this place died in Ottumwa, 26 November, aged 30 years old. Dress caught fire. Buried here. Bu Mother and little ones.

Mr. and Mrs. H. SMITH were aroused Thursday morning by a young lady who has come to make her home with them.
Miss Lysle CRAWFORD Married Orison GRANT of Nashville. Took place at brides’ parents.
John M. HATTON, son of Henry and Sarah HATTON, has passed away. He was 25, and leaves wife and 8 children.

Mrs. Emily OWENS died at 3:30 yesterday morning at the famiy residence, No. 1223 Morgan Street, Keokuk. She was the mother of Mrs. Thomas BUCKNER.
Mrs. Emma TACKABERRY, daughter of H. WEST of this place, died at her home in Ottumwa, November 26.
Mr. Benjamin F. TRIMBALL and Mrs. Alice HARSHMAN were married at the residence of Rev. John BURGIS, Keokuk, 24 November 1889.
Miss Edith FERGUSON of Peoria, Illinois married Joseph J. MITCHELL of McLean County, Illinois at the residence of bride’s parents on 15.

Thomas O’CONNER, brother of Morris O’CONNOR, died at this home in Des Moines, 20 November.
Miss Annie HORTON has a fine son, weighing 10 pounds.
Jeff DAVIS died at 12:30 this morning.
Mrs. W. A. DUNDY died at his home at Nauvoo, Illinois, Thursday, He leaves a wife and two sons.
G. H. HIMES died 30 November 1889. He leaves two daughter and two sons.

Ellick PHILLIPS’ little boy died with croup and was buried Friday.
Mrs. Martha BALTZER died at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. C.D. LEFFLER. She is buried in Burlington.

The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Henry UPHER, living 6 miles north of Montrose, will sympathize with them in the loss of their little daughter, who died Tuesday at the age of 1 year.
Jacob FANKHOUSER died last Friday. He was born 5 May 1819 and at an early age moved to Lee County.27 Dec. 1889
Mr. Charles STANLEY of near Sandusky died December 19th.
