Lawson - Wynn

I have just returned from Fort Madison, Iowa where I found a death
record for;
Rebecca Lawson-born March 16, 1831 in Indiana
died March 11, 1909 in Harrison twp. Lee Co. Iowa
aged 77 yrs. 11 mo. 25 dys.
Burial is in Acklan Cemetery.
I believe that Rebecca's brother, Nathaniel Wynn would be buried here also. He
died between 1900 and 1909, but we were unable to find a death
record for him
while we were at the recorder's office.
Nathaniel Wynn and Rebecca Wynn Lawson are the children of Abraham and Sarah
Wynn who migrated to Iowa from Madison Co. Indiana.
Rebecca's husband was George Lawson who died in the Civil War, March 29,
1863 at Gallatin, Tennessee. He enlisted at Quincy, Indiana on
July 28, 1862 in
Company G, 75th Indiana Volunteers.
