Daily Gate City, Keokuk  February 16, 1931

Mrs. Amelia Anderson

(Frank Anderson, Henry Anderson, William Anderson, Abe Anderson, John Anderson, Crilla Mitchell, and William Hampton)

Mrs. Amelia Anderson an old resident of Lee county died early Sunday morning at her home near New Boston at the advanced age of 95 years.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Missouri ninty-five years ago, but came to Lee county early in her life.

Surviving her are six children,    Frank Anderson and Henry Anderson of Ft Madison, William Anderson, Abe Anderson, John Anderson all of Montrose and Crilla Mitchell also of Montrose.  There is also a brother William Hampton of Des Moines.

The body will remain at the Pearson-Schmidt parlors until Wednesday noon.  Services will be held from the church at New Boston.

Mrs. Emma Anderson Weldon

Mrs. Emma Anderson Weldon died at her home near New Boston yesterday morning at 6 o'clock after a
period of illness.

Mrs. Weldon was born in Lee county and was the daughter of Nelson and Amelia Hampton Anderson.
All of her life has been spent in this vicinity.

Surviving her besides her mother are the following brothers and sisters: Nelson Anderson, Amelia Hampton Anderson, Frank Anderson, W.M. Anderson, Henry Anderson
Abe Anderson, John Anderson and Mrs. Crilla Mitchell.  Her father, a brother and five sisters preceded her in death.

The funeral services will be held from the church at New Boston Wednesday afternoon at ? o'closck
