| The Seneca Township Cemetery is located in Section 8 of Seneca Township in Kossuth County, Iowa. | ||||||
| OR from Fenton, Iowa 7 miles north and 1/2 mile east on 385th Street. The first Burial 1871. | ||||||
| A picture of the cemetery can be seen at "Gravestone Photo Project". Many stones are chipped or are illegible. Many unmarked graves. | ||||||
| The cemetery had been badly neglected and overgrown with brush a few years ago, when a community group decided to clean it up and have | ||||||
| it mowed and some stones repaired, and etc. The cemetery was walked and recorded the summer of 2002. Submitted by Letty Hurlburt. March 2003. | ||||||
