The Chapel of the Fairview Pioneer Memorial Assoication and Adjacent Fairview Cemetery. The Fairview Evangelical Conference erected this church in 1889 and it served in this capacity for nearly 50 years. Objectives of restoration are to honor our pioneer forefathers, set a goal for ourselves, and inspire our successors in perpetuity.
Postmarked Aug. 18, 1967 at McClelland, 51548 and addressed to Mrs. Elsie Evans, Rt-1, McClelland, Ia, 51548. Message dated 8-18-67 reads: "Annual Home-coming Picnic, Apare-Share Auction. Sunday August 27, 1 P.M. **In Case Rain Sunday September 3rd, 1 p.m. at Chapel. Ella Lyman".
