At the annual meeting of the Old Settlers Association of Johnson county, held at the Secretarys' office on March 18th, the following were elected:
President, H. W. Lathrop
1st Vice-President, Julius G. Brown
2d Vice-President, John Fry
Secretary, Henry J. Wieneke
Treasurer, Jacob Ricord
Executive Committee, Ed Shepard, G. R. Irish, S. J. Hess, Geo. Paul, L. S. Swafford

It was the unanimous vote of the meeting that the annual election of officers hereafter occur at the annual reunion in August. Officer to serve one year from that date or until their successors are elected. (Source:  Iowa City Press-Citizen, 20 Mar 1891, pg. 15)
