Sharon Township Rural School House News

One
of the most interesting ball games played in Sharon this year was
played last Saturday between Boone school No. 5, and Willow Grove
District No. 2. The game was won by Willow Grove by one point, the
official score being 15 to 16. The teams will meet again soon. The
batters for Willow Grove were Yoder, Michael and Cox; for Boone, they
were Kauffman, Wagner and Ramige. Arthur Ressler umpire. (Source: Iowa
