Obituary

Carl Marshall Jablonski, 59 of Haiku, Maui, formerly of Iowa City, died Monday, February 26,  2001, at the Maui Memorial Hospital of a brief illness. 

 Services will take place Saturday at the First Congregational Church in Tiburon, California. Burial will be at a later date. 

Mr. Jablonski was born January 1, 1942 in Bonne Terre, Missouri,

to Glenn and Martha Jablonski.  He was a 1960 graduate of City High School and attended the University of Iowa and St. John’s University.  He was a Sufi leader in San Francisco and Maui. 

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Mei Ling Chang-Jablonski; four children, Noria Jablonski of Florence, Massachusetts, Noah Lassar of San Diego, and Kawanoa’oa and Iolani Jablonski, both of Haiku; his former wife, Pat Lassar of  Petaluma, California; one sister and her husband, Elise and Dan Karpan of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and two brothers, Paul Jablonski of Portland and John Jablonski of Iowa City.
