Obituary

BURKS - Donald George Burks, 56, a resident of Scottsdale, Arizona and a former resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, November 27, 1997.  He is survived by his wife, Viola Burks of the family home; daughter, Jacqueline Klaus and husband, Kevin of Albuquerque; son, Gregory Burks of Las Cruces; mother, Alice Burks of Sun City, AZ; and brother, James Burks of Phoenix, AZ

Mr. Burks was a graduate of the University of Iowa Dental School and University of California Perio School.  He was a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology.  Mr. Burks worked for 30 years for the US Public Health Service and 10 of those years at SIPI in Albuquerque.  Services were held in Sun City, Arizona.
