Iowa Gravestone Photo Project Update
A quick note to let everyone know that today we added a small but useful feature to the Iowa Gravestone Photo Project interface. This involves a friendlier, cleaner format for printing gravestone photo records without including non-relevant information that might otherwise clutter up your printed record.
You'll now find a small link directly below the photo that says "Print Friendly View". Give it a try and you'll notice a big difference. Now, if you choose to print a copy, you'll print the photo, name of cemetery and county, any optionally inserted comments as well as any post-em notes that may have subsequently been added. Our thanks go out to all researchers who have added their ancestors stones to the database and also to those who have in many cases taken photos and uploaded them for entire cemeteries in order to preserve a digital record of those who we owe so much. If things continue at the current rate of growth, we anticipate having over 400,000 Gravestone Photo Records online by year's end.
