1Back far left - the boy is Delbert Brantner and the girl in the windowpane check is Della May Brantner (Hawn). The girl on the far right side of the teacher is Dulcie Brantner Ebert Annyas and the girl next to her on the teacher's left is Addie Hazel Brantner DeBolt.
The girl on the teacher's right is listed in the 1900 Malaka Twp., Jasper Co. census as Bula Eychaner. She lived next to the Brantner family. Florence and Bill are the children of John Meyer and Eddie is listed next door as the child of Frederick Meyer.
Anne's research indicates that the boy and girl behind Dulcie might be Florence and Bill Meyer and the boy behind Bula might be their cousin, Eddie. Also that the girl next to Della may be Imogene Dodge b. May 1889, the boy in front of Imogene could be Wallace Dodge b. Oct 1891, and the girl next to Imogene could be Mable Dodge b. Jul 1887.

Here is a letter from Aunt Addie to my grandmother in which she tries to identify some of the other children.

"I can't remember very many in the school picture. I think the little girl on the other side of the teacher is Beulah Eichmer and the girl and two boys behind Dulcie, Beulah and I are Florenced, Eddie & Bill, but I can't remember their last names. Am I right? The boy beside you, Della, and the older boy and two girls in the back, I don't remember at all. You'll have to name them for me when you write as I would like to know who they were."
