On August 27, 1857 Eli H Pendroy married Eliza Ann Grubb. Eliza Ann (Grubb) Pendroy was born August 27, 1837 in Indiana. She died May 1, 1871 at age of 34. Mary Etta Pendroy married Mel Rinehart in Oct 18, 1891, and is buried in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe Iowa. Mary Emma Pendroy - Parents were Eli H. and Eliza Ann (Grubb) Pendroy - (called Emma) born Dec 12, 1863 - died January 19,1922 at Galesburg, Ia.. Mary Emma Pendroy married Sherman Rinehart Aug 1 1889. They are both buried in Silent City Cemetery at Monroe Iowa. (Author note: Sisters Mary Etta and Mary Emma Pendroy married these two Rinehart brothers.) Willet Pendroy. - Parents were Eli H. and Eliza Ann (Grubb) Pendroy - Willet was the infant son that died shortly after his birth on April 11, 1871. Willet is buried beside his parents Eli H. and Eliza Ann Pendroy. Willet only lived a few days after his mother Eliza Ann (Grubb) Pendroy died at age 34. When Eliza died she had 7 children all under age 14.
3. Edgar Grant Pendroy - Parents were Eli H. and Eliza Ann (Grubb) Pendroy. Edgar Grant married Tempa (Wilson) Pendroy Edgar Grant Pendroy's parents were Eli H. and Eliza Ann (Grubb) Pendroy. Edgar Grant Pendroy was born May 1, 1868 - died March 19, 1964 in Jasper County Iowa at Monroe. Ed Pendroy died in March 18, 1964 at Monroe Iowa after living to age 95. Ed and Tempa Pendroy were farmers. Edgar Grant Pendroy married Tempa Wilson of Red Rock, Iowa and they had four children. (Earl Mell Pendroy, Faye Irene Pendroy, Beulah Jane Pendroy, and Dale Arthur Pendroy.) Tempa (Wilson) Pendroy was the daughter of Washington and Jane (Flaugh) Wilson of Red Rock, Iowa in Marion County. Tempa Wilson was born Jan. 18, 1880. Tempa died at her home April 23 1976. They were married Feb 26, 1902. Edgar and Tempa are buried in Silent City Cemetery in Monroe, Iowa. Rebecca E.
