23, 1935 in Newburg, Iowa, married Kate LEASMAN on Dec. 10, 1884.
- John and Margaret Breeden raised John Asher Breeden who was their
grandchild by their son Richard Breeden and a hired girl, Sarah BROWN.
Richard and Sarah were never married and Sarah died June 11, 1869,
shortly after John Asher Breeden was born. John Asher Breeden was never
adopted, but raised as a foster son. He took the Breeden name.
John Asher Breeden was b. June 6, 1869 in Jasper Co., Iowa, and he died
May 15, 1939. He is buried in M. E. Cemetery. He married Eva WHITCOMB
on May 23, 1894. This information was passed on to me by Inez MILGATE,
John Asher Breeden's daughter, before she died.
