All information, unless otherwise noted, is taken directly from a document provided by Allyson Monroe Tilton. This family is connected to Jasper County through Reinhard Klos born in Prussia and died in Polk County, Iowa in 1911 and his wife Maria Schmidt Klos who died in 1866 and is buried in Will County, Illinois. Their daughter, Mary A. Klos, married William Pink. Both Mary and William and many of their descendants are buried in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Mound Prairie Township.
