278. Willis Rozenberg
Willis E. Rozenberg: West Des Moines ââ¬â Willis E. Rozenberg, 58, of West Des Moines, formerly of Newton, died from complications of multiple sclerosis Thursday, Aug. 22, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with the Rev. Russell May, senior pastor of West Des Moines United Methodist Church in West Des Moines, officiating. Burial will be at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton.
Friends may call from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home where the family will greet friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society ââ¬â Iowa Chapter and may be left at the funeral home.
The son of Marion and Zora D. (Huff) Rozenberg, he was born May 20, 1944, in Newton. He graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1962. On April 28, 1984, he married Annie M. Watkins in Des Moines. He was a barber and had worked at the Center Barber Shop in the Newton mall prior to owning and operating the Rialto Barber Shop in downtown Newton. He also worked as an insurance agent with American Family Insurance Company in Newton. He was a member of the West Des Moines United Methodist Church and the Iowa MS Support Group in Des Moines. He grew up and lived in Newton until moving to Des Moines in 1984.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debbie Rozenberg of Newton and Lori Rozenberg of Orland, Ind.; two grandchildren; his mother, Zora Rosenberg of Newton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Ron Parish of Mon roe and Judy and Harry Dearinger of Newton and several nieces and nephews.
He waspreceded in death by his father.
