Stella M. Skow Dies Monday;
Rites Thursday

Mrs. Harry (Stella Mae) Skow, 86, of 304 W. 3rd St. S., a lifelong resident of Jasper County, died Monday at the Embassy Manor.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Loehr Funeral Chapel.

The Rev. H. Eugene Cedarholm, pastor of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6:30 p.m. today.

Survivors are her husband; a son, and daughter-in-law, Harold and Lenore Skow of Newton; a daughter, Maxine Skow, of Newton; a brother Allen Moore of Newton; and a sister, Mrs. Bert (Dora) Kennedy of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Marlo, six brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Skow was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church.
