Colfax Clipper: Died, at her home, in this city, at 10 a.m., Monday, Mrs. Nancy J. Clements (sic-Clement), aged 69 years. Mrs. Clements was a widow, the mother of nine children of whom eight survive her. The funeral was from Bethel church west of Newton, conducted by Rev. Cozier of Colfax, and the interment was at the cemetery near Metz. ~ Newton Journal, Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1896.
