SISTER WANTED -- The Hannibal (Mo.) Clipper requests
that the following be made public: Lucas BROWN of Hannibal,
Missouri, wishes the address of his sister Catharine, now
supposed to be married. Said sister left Iowa about 18 years ago,
in the family of William CHITTENDEN (to whom she was bound) on
her way to California, since when no tidings have been obtained
from either party. Any information relative to the above will be
thankfully received.
The Miss BROWN alluded to came to California with James H.
CHITTENDEN, and not William, as stated above. She is now married,
her name being Mrs. WRIGHT, and resides near Stockton, on the
Copperopolis road. These facts we learn from Walter A.
CHITTENDEN, of this city, who is a nephew of James A.
CHITTENDEN.
