DEATHS.
Died, in Fairview, Jones county, Iowa, on the 1st instant, Mrs.
MARY ANN MATSON, wife of the honorable S.G. Matson.
Mrs. Matson was a native of Rutland county, Vermont. It seldom
falls to our lot to record the death of one whose loss is more
seriously felt by a large circle of friends. Several weeks
previous to her death, she arranged her domestic matters,
assuring her heart-broken husband, mother, and children, that the
time of her dissolution was near at hand.
