EARL E. MARINE.
Earl E. Marine, 50, 2922 Robertson street, street department employe and a world war 1 veteran, died in a Sioux City hospital Friday morning.

Born in Sioux City October 1, 1894, Mr. Marine lived here all his life.  He is a member of Stransberry chapter, Purple Heart.

He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Hazel Viola and Shirley, Sioux City; one son, Earl jr., Sioux City; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Marine, Sioux City; four sisters, Mrs. Mabel Smith, Sioux City, Mrs. Hazel Gill of Van Port City, Ore., Mrs. Daisy Wickey of Sioux City, and Mrs. Laura Daniels of Sioux City and two brothers, Ralph J., Portland, Ore., and Raymond, Van Port City.

The body is at the Anderson funeral home.

Funeral services for Earl E. Marine, 50, 2922 Robertson street, a native Sioux Cityan and World War I veteran, who died Friday in a hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Anderson’s Chapel.  Capt. Adrian Read of the Salvation Army will officiate.  Stansbery chapter, Order of the Purple Heart, will conduct graveside services.  Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
