WOMAN NEAR DEATH AFTER TRAIN HITS AUTOMOBILE
Winner, S.D., Feb 20.—Special: Mrs. George M.
Bailey was injured here when the car in which she and Mr. Bailey
and Mr. and Mrs. P.O. Beaulieu were returning from Rosebud was
struck by a freight train switching in the yards. The accident
occurred on the crossing on Main street. The car body was
demolished. Mrs. Bailey was picked up some distance from the car
and taken to a hospital, and is in a serious condition. Mrs.
Beaulieu sustained severe cuts and bruises and Mr. Bailey several
broken ribs and bruises. Mr. Beaulieu was bruised.
