CHARGE 3 WITH MURDER ATTEMPT
Accused of Attacking Man and Cutting His Face To Shreds.

Charges of assault with intent to commit murder have been placed against three of the four persons accused of attacking J. W. Bailey, a railroad brakeman, with a razor on the East Side Monday night.  Bonds were fixed at $20,000 each.

The trio held for the crime are Leo Darr, Lottie Dingman and Sam Wade.  All gave their address as 520 Steuben street.

Pete Dingman, the fourth man arrested, was charged with intoxication and was released on a $10 cash bond.

The trio is said to have attacked Bailey with a razor and literally cut his face to shreds.

Seriously, although not fatally injured, Bailey is convalescing at St. Vincent’s hospital.

GANG RUFFIANS GETS A CHANGE OF VENUE
Leo Darr, Sam Wade and Lottie Dingman charged with assault with intent to commit murder were granted a change of venue to the Justice Court of Charles Lockie.

A request of the attorney for the defendants to have the $20,000 bonds reduced was refused by Police Judge Carlos Goltz.

The trio is said to have attacked J. W. Bailey, a railroad brakeman, with a razor and seriously injured him.
