FINED $400 FOR MAKING BOOZE.
Ove Cates and Nellie Dingman Plead Guilty to Charge.
Fines of $400 each were assessed by Judge C. C. Hamilton today upon Obe (sic Ove) Cates and Nellie La Franz Dingman upon their pleas of guilty to maintaining a liquor nuisance.
The pair was indicted by the grand jury as the result of a raid which Sherifff Paul T. Beardsley made on a shack in the vicinity of Brown’s lake last July. A still in full operation was found by the officers.
