INDICTMENTS GIVEN OUT.
Announcement Made When Five Are Arrested.
Five indictments returned by the March grand jury, heretofore kept secret, were made public Monday by Sheriff Paul Beardsley and Assistant County Attorney O. D. Nickle following the arrest of the parties.
Harry Smith is indicted on two counts, namely, breaking and entering and having burglars’ tools in his possession. George Vaughn is accused of having possession of burglars’ tools, breaking and entering and carrying concealed weapons.
Smith and Vaughn, it is alleged, broke into Gard Bros’ establishment, 1013 West Seventh street, January 29, 1922.
J. H. Holmes and William Dingman are indicted for carrying concealed weapons, and Earl Marine for maintaining a liquor nuisance.
