Moritz Langstadt, who was leader of the Orpheum orchestra last season, is expected in Sioux City today from Chicago to arrange his orchestra for the coming season.  Most of the musicians who were here last season will return to their old places.

F. W. M. Hall, ahead of the Buffalo Bill show, arrived in Sioux City last night to complete arrangements for the appearance of the show here tomorrow.  He said the show would be at LeMars today as one of the features of the Homecoming Week.

Col. Joseph Eiboeck, editor of the DesMoines Staats-Anzeiger, is in Sioux City.  He spoke on German day at LeMars Tuesday, and told an interested audience a whole lot about German history.  He plans to get back to Des Moines the last of the week, stopping at Remsen on the way.

A small blaze which started from unknown causes did about $100 damage to the home of A. M. Pickus, 414 Jennings street, shortly after noon yesterday.  The department was called out and a quantity of water was thrown, causing damage.  The fire was first discovered in a pile of old clothing.

Companies H and L, Fifty-sixth regiment, I. N. G. , will return to Sioux City from Lake Okoboji, where they have been in camp for the last ten days, at 7 o’clock tomorrow evening on a special train over the Northwestern road.  The hospital detachment also will return at the same time.
