Death of Mrs. Hans Nelson
Mrs. Hans Nelson has been a sufferer for many years. While in her girlhood she was afflicted with a severe attack of typhoid fever. This left her in a deformed condition. This deformity has a great deal to do with her sufferings of the late year. Quite a number of times she had very unpleasant, and helpless attacks of extreme nervousness, and womanly weakness. This winter she has been in a critical condition most of the time until last Sunday night she passed away at their home at Frost, Minn. They once owned a farm a few miles northeast of here, where they began their married life. After they left the farm they lived for a number of years in Rake, until about 9 months ago, when they moved to J.M. Gunderson's for the busy summer months. Since the summer months they have lived in Frost. Mr. Nelson has sold the farm nearly a year ago, and converting his possessions into money. What his contemplations are for the future, we have not learned. They have no children, so his cares will not be great hereafter. The funeral takes place today from the Liberty Church in the afternoon about 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Liberty cemetery.

Mrs. Nelson's maiden name was Miss Olava Mikkelson, and lived most of her life north of here just over the state line. She was married to Mr. Hans Nelson about ten years ago. She is survived by one brother, John Mikkleson, and five sisters. They are Mrs. Gabriel Gunderson of Wilmar, Minn.; Mrs. Andrew Gunderson, north of here; Mrs. Lee Johnson, Mrs. Clement Groufor, and Mrs. Andrew Odeguard.

Wedding Bells
This community received a surprise last week when the news came around that Mr. Bennie Johnson and Miss Borghild Wandik were married last week, Tuesday at Forest City at the M.E. Church by the Methodist pastor, Rev. Sands. They did it on the quiet, so that not even their own folks knew about it. When it was found out, an invitation was extended to them to come home, and were told that they [would] be welcome. They are industrious young people and are taking hold in a way to show that they mean to make the best of life. Mr. Johnson has hired out to P.J. Christenson for the coming year, and they will make preparations to begin house keeping before working season commences. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson, northwest of Frost. Last year he worked for Martin Taylor, just north of Rake. He is well known her as a well meaning young man, and a few months ago was making preparations to enter the Commercial College at Mankato, Minn. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Dan Swenson . She is well known in this vicinity and is an intelligent young lady with many good qualities.
