IOWA FORGER IS GIVEN PAROLE
Des Moines.—(AP)—William Ramsey’s fifty-one-day leave of absence from the state penitentiary at Fort Madison has developed into a full-fledged parole. Ramsey, 36, was allowed to come home from the state penitentiary last February 4, to give his blood to a dying sister. Today the state board of parole announced that he had been given a parole last Saturday.

Death came to the sister, Mrs. Nellie Taylor, however, less than twenty-four hours after the parole was granted. Mrs. Taylor died Sunday morning.

Ramsey was sentenced to a 15-year term for forgery, February 14, 1931, in Polk county. He was not committed until March 30, 1932.
