~Paul and Ronald Rice, Iowa State college students, are
spending Thanksgiving at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Harry Rice, 322 Gara street.
~Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Morgan of Des Moines are visiting today at
the home of Mrs. Morgans parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark
Philips, 121 West Fifth street.
~Miss Agenes Gregerson, 323 West Second street, is spending
Thanksgiving day with her father, Martin Gregerson, and brothers,
Howard and George Gregerson, at Milton.
~Marriage licenses issued in the office of the Clerk of District
Court here include:
S. J. McVey and Mary Palmer, of Wapello County;
George W. Smith and Ruth E. A. Rooker, Ottumwa;
Alex Davis and Jessie Huffstutter, Ottumwa.
~E. R. Doty and family of Malcom are in the city today to spend
Thanksgiving with their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L.
C. Whitford. Mr. Whitford is a pharmacist in the Parks Drug store
here. Mr. Doty is editor of the Malcom Leader.
~Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Reynolds of Ft. Madison are Thanksgiving day
guests at the home of Mr. Reynolds parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.
P. Reynolds, 1015 East Court street.
~Miss Louise Vander Linden, 1125 North Elm street, is a
Thanksgiving day guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Summers
in Des Moines.
~Miss Mildred Wheelock of Ames is visiting today at the M. Vander
Linden home, 1125 North Elm street.
~Alex Davis and Jessie Huffstutter, both of Ottumwa, were married
by Justice of the Peace D. S. Bonwell Tuesday at noon.
