CHARITON
G. G. Mitchell of Worth, Mo., formerly of this city, is here for
a visit with relatives and old friends.
Mrs. Chas. Hass is enjoying a visit from her father, Mr.
Willhite, of Grant City, Mo.
Miss Ruth Chase of Indianola is visiting in Chariton, a guest of
Miss Edenia Kridelbaugh.
Mr. and Mrs. Redmond Saylor and Miss Mattie Larimer of Des
Moines, are visiting relatives and friends in this city and at
Russell.
Mrs. Geo. Judkins of Indianola is visiting in northeast Chariton
with her sister, Mrs. J. H. Threlkeld.
Dr. L. E. Elliott of Clarinda has opened an office in Chariton.
His wife is a sister of Mrs. Sherman Teas.
Ralph Douglass of Kansas City has joined his wife and two
children in a visit with her mother, Mrs. Lida Wren, and other
relatives and old friends.
J. W. Williamson of Lincoln township has returned from Ames where
he went to consult the faculty of the state agricultural college
in regard to a short course and other matters of interest to the
farmers of this county.
Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Prather of Cedar township have gone to Des
Moines to visit friends and while there Mr. Prather will receive
treatment for an injured eye, which has been causing him much
trouble and pain.
Miss Gertrude Brown of Lincoln township is spending a few days
with friends in Des Moines.
Mr. and Mrs. Grover Fluke and little daughter, Dorothy, have
returned from a visit with friends in Des Moines.
Miss Jessie Fellows has gone to Ralston, Okla., to spend two
months with relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Howard Lynn of Seward, Nebr., are visitors near
Russell with the latters parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Rouse
and with other relatives in this county.
