EVA BLISS ACCUSED.
Held for the Murder of Rolla Houdyshell.

This afternoon in the court of Justice Ballard Eva Bliss, alias Eva Wright, was arraigned on the charge of murder.

The warrant under which she was arrested was sworn out by Constable E. M. Campbell and alleged that the defendant did on February 20, willfully and with malice aforethought shoot and kill a human being, to-wit:  Rolla Houdyshell.

County attorney Emery appeared and asked time to secure evidence and prepare for the preliminary hearing.  The case was set for Monday next.  It will be remembered that it was in the home of this woman that Rolly Houdyshell, her alleged lover, was found last Thursday evening with a bullet hole in his head.  The woman claims it was a case of suicide.
She showed no feeling of either emotion or fear in court this afternoon and spoke not a word until she had left the room for the county jail where she will be held until the hearing.  She asked why they made her wait so long.

With her in the court room was the man, Wright, whom it is said was her former lover and also his son.
