DIED.—On West Second street of summer complaint, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. Sunderland, at two o’clock yesterday afternoon.
DIED.—Miss Mary Goodall, daughter of J. B. and Mary E. Goodall, yesterday evening at half past six o’clock.  The funeral will take place from the family residence this afternoon at four o’clock.  Friends of the family invited without further notice.

POLICE COURTS.
The case of the State vs. James Murray, who is charged with taking a gold watch and some money from Chas. F. Bartling at the Revere House a few nights ago, came up before Mayor Madison yesterday with A. C. Steck for plaintiff and McNett & Tisdale for defendant.  The evidence was not sufficient to commit Murray and the case was dismissed.  Bartling obtained his watch but did not get the money lost.
