The following are the marriage licenses issued during the month of March,
1879: John A. Walston to Mary F. Williams, George Zachaw to Jane Rape,
Charles Westcott to Ruth McKasson, John H. Berg to Julia A Spurgeon, Thomas
R. Reese to Alice Spencer, Alfred A. Dodge to Amanda J. Pennington, Israel
H. Strait to Sarah Plowman, Henry Miller to Edna McNeill, George E. Burger
to Minnie A. Newell.
V.P. Twombly well known to our readers as a merchant, and earlier as a
miller, advertises his business in our columns this week. He is a good
business man, but just now he is working for the Republican nomination for
treasurer.

Miller, McNeill. -- On Wednesday April 2, 1879, at the residence of the
bride's parents, by A. W. Wiggins, Mr. Henry Miller and Miss Edna McNeill,
both of Milton, Iowa.

Dodge, Penington. -- At the residence of the bride's father, Geo. Penington,
Esq., Rev. J.W. Wright, of Pulaski, officiating, Mr. Alfred H. Dodge to Miss
Amanda J. Penington.
