Cholera
We learn that the cholera has made its appearance in the town of Bonaparte and that several deaths have occurred. Several immigrants arriving at Burlington have died with the cholera but it has not made its appearance among the citizens as yet. Whitewashing and cleanliness should be the order of the day as a preventive of the dreadful scourge.
