C.C. POWERS dead; Creston shocked.
Prominent retired stockman and farmer sucumbs to pneumona at
home.
Cyrus Cameron POWERS was born in Wheeler, NY on April 7, 1854.
His father, Cyrus Hale Stone POWERS, moved with his family to
Bureau Co., IL. soon after C.C.'s birth. C.C. was married in 1882
to Jennie SHEPARD of Hammondsport, NY. They moved to their Iowa
farm six miles north of Creston where they lived until the year
1902 when they moved to Creston. Survivors are Katherine M.,
Ermon C., Errol J., Frances M., and Roy C.
