LOCAL OCCURRENCES.
Mrs. John Otkin who was at her father’s bedside in LeMars is home again
accompanied by her mother, who will make her home here. The husband and
father, John Frerichs, died Saturday at the age of eighty years. Mrs. Otkin,
John W. Frerichs of LeMars, and a brother in Nebraska are all who remain of
ten children to mourn with their widowed mother. Deceased was born in
Germany, coming to America in 1857 and to LeMars in 1878. He and his wife
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary three years ago.
