A serious accident took place at Sioux Center last Thursday.  C. Brak, working for H. Wesselink, took a load of grain to town.  While unloading at the elevator the horses scared and while trying to catch them, he stumbled and came under the loaded wagon which went over him.  He was taken to the house of Dr. Mulder, where he died early Saturday morning.  His parents who live in South Dakota were notified by telegraph of the accident and came over Saturday morning.  The funeral took place Monday.

ADDITIONAL LOCALS.
Herman Meyne and Miss Josie Hellwege were united in marriage at the Meyne home, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock by Rev. Baetka in the presence of a large number of invited guests.  These young people start in life with very bright prospects for the future and the Reporter joins with their many friends in wishing them success and happiness in their new life as man and wife.  May the greatest clouds that pass over their horizon of happiness be, little ones.

Died.  Saturday, November 6th, the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Reyelts in spasms, of which cause we have been unable to learn.  The little one was laid to rest Monday in the German cemetery, Rev. Wm. Baetke preaching the funeral sermon.  The bereaved parents have the warmest sympathy of all their neighbors and friends in their sad loss, and can take consolation in knowing that the little tot is safely in its heavenly home, awaiting their coming.
