SHORT AND SWEET.
Theo. Hoxmeier, Mrs. Mike Gasper, and Mrs. Herrig attended the funeral of
Nicholas Kellen at LeMars, Tuesday. The deceased resided near Oyens and was
71 years of age.
Mrs. Nic Kass of Remsen died last Sunday afternoon and the funeral was held
Tuesday morning. John Homan, Theo. Arens and the Goebel brothers and many
others from Alton attended the obsequies from this city. The deceased was a
sister of Mrs. Jno. Homan, and her death is universally mourned.
REMSEN RIPPLES:
Died:--At her home in this city, on Sunday, Dec. 8th, Mrs. Paul Zink. She
was loved and respected by all who knew her. The funeral services were
conducted by Rev. Schulte at the Catholic church, Wednesday.
Mrs. N. Kass died Sunday after a serious illness. She leaves a husband and
five children to mourn her loss.
